Wood Packaging Material Standard for Export An international agreement under the supervision of FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations) aimed at preventing the spread of plant pests and diseases that may accompany international trade, particularly from wood packaging materials such as wooden crates and pallets used in cargo transportation.

Wood crates used for transportation must undergo fumigation or heat treatment to reduce the risk of transferring insects or pathogens from one country to another

Wood must be stamped with the IPPC symbol (as shown in the image), indicating the country of manufacture and the authorized manufacturer's number

Customers using JVK’s wooden crate services can be assured that their goods will not be detained or rejected at destination country customs, as the wooden crates have been heat-treated and stamped according to IPPC standards, which is a mandatory requirement for international exports to many countries such as the United States, Japan, Australia, and the European Union.
